The Boy Who Played The Harp

I have been a Dave fan for a while, so I went into this album with high exceptions. Overall I really enjoyed the album and it delivered in true Dave fashion, showing a variety of rapping styles with a heavy focus on retrospective / story-telling rap.

It was good but not as good as Pyschodrama. I enjoy his storytelling except I didn't feel this was as nuances as this other work. Fairchild and The Boy Who Played the Harp were the best parts of the album!

First foray into Dave, thoroughly enjoyed. Loved quite a few songs, deep feels, hot takes, and not afraid of hard topics. (Male) rap isn’t always my bag, so rating this highly highly. Also upped my rating of Blake. Claps. Marvellous.

An excellent album, great start to album club with some clever lyrics, fun tunes, excellent collabs and hard hitting stories, this one had it all.
